Big Hero 6 was
a robotic treasure hunt where teams had to build
robots to cross six obstructions to enter a
building surrounded by terrorists to diffuse a
bomb. The concepts to be used to build the
robots were provided to the participants before
the game. Cheers to everyone for a wealthy
engagement during the event.
Project Oasis was a month long event of
fun, packed with loads of learning and
innovation! The speed and wit of our
participants were tested and they were given the
liberty to work on our real robot from the
comfort of their home virtually.
We organized a
virtual workshop on Basics Of Robot Operating
System(ROS).
We conducted a
virtual workshop on Hardware Integration with
Image Processing.
We conducted a
hands-on Image Processing Workshop using Python
for freshers.
We organized a
virtual workshop on Basics Of Arduino for
freshers.
We organized a
webinar on AI and Robotics with Mr. Sreekanth
Pallavoor, which gave an insight of AI and
Robotic Applications in Industries.
We conducted a
webinar on
Predictive Maintainence of Large Industrial
Equipments using IoT System
by Dr. Kumar Padmanabh who is a Senior
Scientist in EBTIC
We conducted
our second webinar series on
Practical Mathematics for Robotic
Applications.
We conducted a
webinar series on
Mathematical Intuition for Robotics which
covered various topics like Kinematics,
Trajectories, Force and Torque, and
Microcontrollers.
We organized a talk
on IEEE Standards On Robotics by
Mr. Srikanth Chandrasekaran who is a
Senior Director of Standards And Technology
IEEE, India.
We conducted an
Ideathon where students came up with ideas for
different real world problems that can be solved
using robotics and automation.
Introduction to
Automation - by Debayan Das. The third
and final workshop held in the series. The
students were introduced to the field of
automation in robotics and a bumper crowd
ensured that the content delivered was
thoroughly absorbed.
Voice Controlled
Robots - by Sanjayitha. The workshop had
a crowd of 80 students. The students learnt how
to build 2 different skills and were thoroughly
enthralled with the platform and the skills they
built.
Convolution Neural
Network - by Aravind and Manasa.
The Workshop took place in the CSE Seminar Hall,
and a crowd of 80 students attended it. The
students were taught using the Google Colab
platform and were tasked with building their own
Neural Network.
